She has completed M.Phil in Regional Studies, PG Diploma in Human Rights and Master of Arts in Political Science from University of Hyderabad. BA from Christ University (Autonomous), Bangalore. She was a part time faculty of political science in BMS College for Women, Basavangudi, Bangalore for a period of 3 years. She has presented papers in seminars conducted by reputed Universities and attended various national workshops. She has had the privileged to work as a Project Co-ordinator for National Commission of Women.
She is the faculty in-charge for the NSS Committee and Red Cross Unit.
